on one of the countless worlds conquered by great Darkseid, Grayven claims to be the illegitimate son of the lord of Apokolips.
Having seemingly received a portion of his father's immense might but not the recognition he craved, Grayven's feelings of
abandonment and resentment festered within him. Ultimately plotting to take his birthright by force, he gathered an army of
the universe's deadliest scum and began a journey toward Apokolips.
After decimating a chain of worlds and destroying
the intergalactic peace-keeping force the Darkstars, Grayven was finally stopped on the planet Rann by the combined efforts
of Kyle Rayner, John Stewart and Adam Strange. A recent rematch with Kyle resulted in Grayven's disappearance, and his whereabouts
are still unknown. The remnants of his shattered fleet wander the deep reaches of space.
